Terms and condition 2021-2022

Payments should be made at least one month in advance prior to starting lessons.

  • A £50 refundable deposit must be paid for each child on the day of registration (in addition to a minimum of one month in advance for lessons). The deposit will be returned when the parent decide to withdraw their child from our centre and give us at least TWO-WEEK NOTICE.
  • A £10 admission fee must be paid for each child on the day of registration.

    • Individual lesson cancellations

  • If you wish to change an individual lesson, then you must give a minimum of 24hrs notice to the centre.
  • If the centre does not receive a 24-HOUR NOTICE then the full cost of individual lesson will need to be paid, regardless of the reason of the cancellation.
  • A catch-up lesson must be arranged for any missed lessons.
  • Missed classes/hours may be covered during weeks/days/Easter/summer/mid-term holidays.
  • A-Level lessons are not allowed to be cancelled, nor are there any catch-up lessons for them.

At leastTWO WEEKS NOTICE will be required if you wish to change subjects or time slots (which depends on lesson availability) or leave Merit Tutors.


Discount:

A sliding scale of discount is available as follows:

  • A 10% discount is available if you purchase 20-49 Hours.
  • A 15% discount is available if you purchase 50 or more Hours.
