My son's experience with Merit tuter was very nice for the whole year. His teacher at school didn't know about the tuition but in the parent's meeting she was happy because of my son's writing skills improvement. That was after only 3 months of attending Merit tuition. The only thing needs to be improved by the tutors is home work marking. Sometimes they do massive delay in marking the work.read more

Merit Tutors is really one of the best tuition centers in East London that I have been so far, the staff and teachers are amazing and really helpful, the teachers are super positive and very nice and they always push us to do our best. Everyday they print a lot of Resources for us to work on and they really try their best to make us improve at school; they will also send report card every months at your house so that you can keep track of your child's progress. Since I started to study at Merit Tutors my grades have gone insanely high and I was super surprised in my recent tests. If you would like to give an excellent future to your child I will definetly recommend to send your child to Merit Tutors.read more

I have been learning a lot of new things, tricks/skills for my learning. I have become a little bit more confident in school. My experience has been very good due to me getting more educated and also due to the staff/tutors being very helpful and kind. They could improve by making sure that all tutors mark their students’ (home/class) work so that they know what the students could improve on. I would definitely come back here in the future (e.g. for any exams/tests).read more

My experience with Merit Tutors: 1. They do not mark homework or class work. 2. They have one dictionary between the whole class 3. When you complain they simply do not give any homework! If no homework is given then they won't have to mark it. 4. Complain again and they will get your child to mark the homework. 5. Complain again and they will tell you that they don't have the time to mark the homework. 6. All the while they will accuse your children of lying despite the evidence in the book showing that they are not doing their job. 7. Who ever gave the positive reviews must have been friends/family of Merit Tutors or been paid to write them.read more

I am impressed to join this tuition. A very good tuition so far! Tutors explains the work to us very clearly so we can understand. A regular homework is set in order for us to make progress. Overall, I recommend this tuition to all parents who wants their child to make improvements!read more

Merit Tutors focuses greatly on the individual needs of the students. They are given flexibility to attend their sessions, even if they change their days, so that no week is missed and they gain maximum benefit before exams and tests. Regular exam questions on their topic of study is given to reinforce the content. It has a positive learning atmosphere with students able to engage learning with each other and on their own. Students usually are studying on multiple subjects here and like that they can study and prepare at the same place. Couldn't recommended more highly. This is the type of small group tuition that actually teaches the students the topics they want and need.read more
